I am a visual communication designer from Wellington, New Zealand, and now living and working  in Glasgow, Scotland.

From illustration and printmaking to graphic design, book design and typography, my creative work takes many forms. My limited edition woodcuts and linocuts have been exhibited and it’s always a delight to see my design and book projects on the shelves, walls and online.

In 2016 I completed two major projects alongside my day job as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. ‘Will There Be Puffins?’, the first trade picture book I have illustrated, was published by Page Break Ltd in New Zealand, with a second print run in Shetland in 2017. I also successfully project managed, conceptualised, designed and typeset my first solo book design project, ‘Redwood School: Celebrating 50 Years 1966 – 2016’.

After  completing a Bachelor of Design (Hons:1st) at Massey University, Wellington in 2012 I have enjoyed a range of jobs including client commissions and self-initiated projects as well as in my full-time roles.

When I am not creating, I am usually gathering inspiration and exploring the world around me. I love to learn about everything! I am also a devoted traveller, bookbinder, ceramics enthusiast, and lace knitter! One day, I dream of having my own studio where I can create books start to finish (paper-making, content, design, binding) and share my skills with others through workshops and classes.

I’m always up for a creative challenge so please get in touch if you would like to work together. You can find my contact information HERE.
